Current Mood: Tired

Hubby and I are still hard at it getting our renovations done. We have managed to get the bedroom painted and the floor ready to be finished. Flooring should be here next week and if we are lucky next weekend we will get to putting the floor down!

In the meantime waiting on the bedroom floor we have decided to finish the small bathroom. The old tile keeps popping off and the toilet was cracked so time to get it finished. I repainted and did all the pretty stuff quite some time ago so it makes sense to finally finish it off. Here is what we are starting with!

After an evening or two of tearing up the old stuff we are ready to roll.

This has not been an easy chore and only for the strong do it yourselfer! We had to add half inch plywood on top of the base floor due to it being so old. Now we are finishing up adding the wonderboard that the tile will glue to. So hopefully tomorrow night I can put down my tile. We found a really nice tile that we hope will look good. And a new fancy toilet. It is a jacuzzi! More pictures when we are done!

Some extra shots of things I have done. In my normal way of buying all tools needed for something I have managed to accumulate a lot of circular needles for my knitting. They were becoming too much to manage so I made this neat little hanger.

Do you think the needles will ever relax or always look so messy!

So I am off to make sense of the mess the house is in. And as always get the laundry done!
